Sugar Bare does not contain any oils, coloring, or dyes and will dissolve completely in water making clean up an easy task. If you apply the sugar, and would like to change the size of the strip, just wash it off with warm water and simply start over.
If you have never had hair removal done by either waxing or sugaring, especially on the face, do a patch test. Apply a small amount of product on the side of your cheek and then remove it with the strip. Wait 24 hours. If you experience a histamine reaction (rash of small red bumps) do not continue to treat this area. Cold compresses will alleviate the reaction.
DO NOT USE ON MOLES, ACNE, SEPTIC AND BROKEN SKIN, LARGE VARICOSE VEINS OR MEN'S FACIAL HAIR.
This product can be heated in the microwave. Warm the container with a loosened lid on full power for approximately 25 seconds. Your sugar should have a consistency of table syrup. If it is still thick, repeat the above steps in 10 second increments, until desired consistency is reached.
***NOTE: As the level of your container decreases with each use, the amount of time needed to warm your product will also decrease.
WARNING: If the container is overheated, the plastic will melt. If this happens, DO NOT REMOVE IT FROM THE MICROWAVE. Allow it to sit without any heat until it cools down. As it cools the plastic will harden. If you try to lift it out, the container could collapse and scar you. Sugar product will be hotter in the center than the sides. To prevent burning - stir sugar after each heating interval.
PREPARATION OF THE SKIN
- It is important to remove make-up and any oils as well as normal bacteria present on the skin.
- Do not use any moisturizers of lotions for at least 12 hours prior to sugaring.
- Use an antiseptic soap to cleanse the skin.
- Take a small dusting of your favorite drying powder and smooth it
over the entire area.
(This will dry the skin thoroughly so that the strip sugar will stick to it.)
-DO NOT OVERWORK ANY AREA ON THE FACE.
Aftercare: It is important to apply cooling mist or tea tree oil (spray onto
a cotton pad) after the area is cleaned with a damp cloth. Wait at least
six hours before applying lotion to your face.
